The instructional program services include curriculum,\u00a0course sequences, professional development and technical support at the school site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1374688652147_6704\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1374688652147_6703\" align=\"center\">Included in a Law Enforcement Academy is the opportunity to participate in law-related applied learning\u00a0activities such as law enforcement career fair,\u00a0\u00a0a crime scene investigation course at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and\u00a0interaction\u00a0with members of the law enforcement community. Through JRC services, students\u00a0are\u00a0exposed to careers in law enforcement (police, fire, homeland security, FBI, etc.) work with experts in the field, and prepare students for post-secondary education or career readiness.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1917\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1917\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jrcnycorg.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/img-20140501-00111_cropped.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1917 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/jrcnycorg.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/img-20140501-00111_cropped.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"Bronx HS for Law &amp; Community Service students listen to an MTA classroom presentation. \" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1917\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bronx HS for Law &amp; Community Service students learn from the MTA officers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Since\u00a0Fall 2015, John Jay College of Criminal Justice offers LEA students a potential\u00a0potential career pathway into the NYPD called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jjay.cuny.edu\/apple-corps\" target=\"_blank\">APPLE Corps<\/a>.
