Tara was nominated for the award by the Justice Resource Center in recognition of her &#8220;demonstrated exceptional teaching ability&#8221; in her Forest Hills classroom and with the JRC&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/jrcnyc.org\/site\/we-the-people\/\">We the People<\/a> workshops.
