Tuesday, April 19, 2016 – Attention NYC High School and Middle School Social Studies Teachers! The Justice Resource Center is offering a summer Professional Development opportunity at the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse as part of the We The People James Madison Legacy Project.
Who: Twenty-nine (29) high school and/or middle school social studies teachers in law classes, ELL, government, AP government or PIG that can implement various parts of the program in their classes in the following school year may apply. Pull out teachers are not eligible. Up to 2 teachers from each school may be selected. Schools with high needs populations will have priority.
What: The PD sessions will be based upon the content of the We The People Bill of Rights and the Constitution (WTP).
When: June 29, 30, July 5, 6 & 7, 2016
