Apply for the Summer FBI Teen Academy!

May 26, 2015 – Attention high school students! This summer, New York Office FBI Teen Academy will welcome high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors to New York FBI headquarters on August 17 – 21, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any student with an interest in the FBI, what they do and how FBI careers work, is encouraged to apply. All students will be evaluated based on their application (GPA, school activities and community involvement) and essay to determine which students will be offered a seat in the summer class. John Jay College NOW Spring Courses for Law Academy Students!

January 28, 2015 – John Jay College is once again offering College NOW courses to Law Academy students! Registration is open for the Spring 2015 Semester. Courses available include a 1- credit Counseling class on Wednesdays and a 3-credit Criminal Justice Course on Tuesday/Thursday. A description of the courses is available here: Spring2015Catjrc. IMPORTANT!!!: Due to changes in the University registration process, there is an extremely tight window to receive application at the commencement of the school year. As you will note, the due date for applications has been moved up to February 9th.

2015 High School Mock Trial Case Corrections Released

Tuesday, January 13, 2015 – A Correction Memo for the 2015 Mock Trial Case of “Morningside Heights Booster Club, Inc. v. Casey Cheatham” was issued by the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) on January 9, 2015 which identifies specific changes that have been made to the original version of the case.  The Correction Memo, the revised pages, and a complete revised copy of the case are available online at www.nysba.org/mtcase. Please replace the original pages and use the revised pages effectively immediately.
