November 9, 2015 – Attention all students applying to high school! Are you looking for a school where you can choose programs that will lead to both college and in-demand careers? Well, if so, listen up! The New York City Career and Technical Education High School Fair is inviting all of you and your families to learn more about high schools that specialize and offer programs in fields such as information technology, robotics engineering, construction and architecture, graphics, media art and design, health care, culinary arts, business and finance, automotive and transport, law and criminal justice and much more!
There will be professionals to explain the benefits of Career and Technical Education, help you determine which pathways match your interests and discuss the high school application process and deadlines. The CTE Fair will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 9am to 2pm at George Westinghouse High School. For address and ways of transportation, click on the link for more information.
You will be seeing us there as well! Three representatives from the Justice Resource Center will be attending the event, and will gladly speak to you about our law-related and civic education programs for students and teachers. We will have a table set up; don’t be shy to come on down and ask about what we do and the NYC schools we work with. If you are interested in law and/or criminal justice, you should definitely visit our table!
