Calling All Volunteer Attorneys to Coach NYC High School Mock Trial

January 12, 2016 –  The Justice Resource Center, NYC coordinator of the 2016 New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) High School Mock Trial Tournament, is currently recruiting volunteer coaches to help prepare students for the high school competition.

To participate as a volunteer coach, please complete the 2016 Mock Trial Coaches Application and submit the form at your earliest convenience. You may email the form to Debra Lesser or fax it to 212-580-5918. Also, please refer this opportunity to any interested colleagues.

Volunteer coaches who are members in good standing of the NYSBA and admitted to the New York State Bar for at least two years are eligible for 3 CLE credits for their service. Past volunteers can receive CLE credits once every two years for their service in the Mock Trial Tournament.

  • The NYC Mock Trial rounds are scheduled to begin the week of February 23
